Description

This expedition included three compnents a coral reef assessment, test hydrophone equipment for use in enforcement against IUU fishing in the Northern atolls and assesment of the CCT Ile Vache Marine rat eradication programme (detailed sperately). Post coral bleaching reef assesment included; i) extension of long term coral reef data sets, ii) integrating SST trends into coral reef resilience, iii) Measuring for future resilience via coral juvenilt abundance, iv) creating a video archive and, v) a 3D determination of reef structural complexity.
